Tattoo Permit
Each tattoo artist is required to obtain a yearly permit to tattoo within our county. These permits are issued to the individual artist and the location at which they tattoo. Permits are non-transferable and full compliance is required to receive a valid permit. An inspection of the tattoo artist relates to the sanitation of their practices and the facility, not their ability to tattoo.

Recalls
Tattoo Pigments Recalled for Posing Possible Health Risk
Sierra Stain is recalling three of its water-based tattoo pigments that are contaminated with high concentrations of microorganisms, presenting a health concern to consumers. The recall was initiated after the recalling firm became aware that the samples collected and analyzed by FDA had tested positive for multiple microorganisms.
Products were distributed to all 50 states through Amazon. No illnesses have been reported to date.
