Internship and Volunteer Information

Please note that CHA requires employees, interns, and volunteers to be up to date on all vaccines, including flu and COVID vaccines, and, as such, provides vaccination for staff. Vaccines must be up to date, or you must be willing to update them upon start.

Internships

Internship Applications are accepted year-round. Internship opportunities are posted on the  Employment & Volunteer Opportunities page when available. These opportunities range from unpaid internship opportunities to paid ones.

Candidates completing the Internship Interest Application will be contacted if an opportunity is available. We get far more applications for internships than we are able to accommodate, but we strive to match applicant interests with opportunities when possible.

Volunteer Program

Our volunteer program has been growing and thriving ever since the covid-19 vaccine clinics. We are working with more and more departments and programs to create volunteer opportunities. We have opportunities for long-term placement as well as one-time events.

Please visit our volunteer site to learn more and apply for our long-term volunteer opportunities.
