Family Planning

This federally funded program assists women and men in understanding human reproduction and planning pregnancies. The purpose of this program is to offer education, medical evaluation, contraceptive methods, and/or referral services.

Eligible Recipients 
Any person requesting services are eligible to receive family planning services. Medicaid, various insurance plans, sliding fee scale based on financial eligibility, and fee for service are accepted for visits.

This program is carried out by appointment at the Kannapolis site. Physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, nutritionists, social workers, and laboratory staff provide services in a team approach. Interpreter services are available.

Community Benefits
